We want teachers to spend their time teaching.
Rubrical started with a simple frustration: the best teachers were spending their evenings on marking that a machine could draft, leaving less time for the part only they can do. So we built an assistant that takes the first pass and hands it back for you to finish.
Made by OpenKit, with teachers, in the UK.
Rubrical is built by OpenKit and shaped by the teachers who use it. Every part of the product has been tested against real marking, real planning and real classes, not a tidy demo.
It's Funded by the DfE, and built to the standards UK schools expect on data protection, procurement clarity and accessibility. We're a small team that would rather get one subject right than spread thin across many.
